Cupping Therapy(Blood Cupping)
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
Addition to dry cupping, wet cupping used to detoxification to reduce pain on specific channel of meridian.
Cupping is a form of traditional Chinese medicine employed alongside acupuncture or as a standalone treatment.
First, we place a cup over a specific area of your body. Using heat, we create a vacuum in the cup. This encourages blood flow to treat pain, respiratory problems, gastrointestinal problems, back pain, depression and joint swelling.
For example: pain in knee known blood stagnation on kidney channel, which can be reduced pain instantly with wet cupping.
We also use moxibustion alongside acupuncture or, depending on your treatment, as a standalone treatment. Moxa is dried mugwort, which we burn near specific meridians to help with healing.
